Robert "Bob" Dye

Robert “Bob” Dye, of Covington, died Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at the age of 74. He was married to Suzanne, his wife of 39 years, and they shared two sons, Matthew and George. Bob retired from Bell South / AT&T. He was a member of the Communications Workers of America. Bob enjoyed volunteering at his son’s little league games. He supported his wife and his sons in their pursuits. Bob was an avid sports fan and enjoyed a biscuit from Mamie’s in the mornings. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Alice Cochran. Surviving relatives include his father, Dewitt; sister, Rita; and children, Joel and Jana.

A Memorial Visitation for Mr. Dye will be held Friday, June 17, 2022, from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M., at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington. Flowers are accepted, or donations may be made to a cause of your choice.
