Robert L. Jordan

Robert L. Jordan, age 81, of Covington, passed away September 14, 2014. He loved fishing and was a western buff who enjoyed watching western films and attending western festivals. Mr. Jordan will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his sister, Juanita Jordan, and brother, Watson Jordan.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce Jordan of Covington; daughters and sons-in-law, Cindy and Eric Wood of Blairsville, Debra and Gregg Kinney of Bradenton, FL; grandchildren, Rachael and Luke Carter, Jared Wood, Amanda Kinney, Preston Kinney; great-grandson, Caleb Carter; sister-in-law, Peggy Jordan of Durham, NC; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service for Mr. Jordan will be held Wednesday, September 17, 2014, 11:00 AM, at Lawnwood Memorial Park with Rev. Keith Wood officiating. The family will receive friends at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, Tuesday, September 16, from 5:00 - 8:00 PM.
