Robert Hammond, Jr., of Covington, passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at the age of 77. Mr. Hammond proudly served his country in the United States Army and served in Vietnam. He enjoyed making chessboards, riding horses, and running. Mr. Hammond was hardworking, reliable, and resilient. He loved his family dearly and his two cats and will be missed by all who knew him.
Survivors include his loving wife of 50 years, Elizabeth Hammond; son, Robert Hammond, III; daughter, Heather Hammond; as well as 2 grandchildren.
