Robert “Alan” Williams, known to family and friends as Alan, passed away on April 25, 2026, in Newborn, Georgia, at the age of 67.
Alan was born on June 15, 1958, in Atlanta, Georgia, and he carried the values of his upbringing with him throughout his life. He was the beloved son of Robert “Bobby” Williams and Linda Williams, and he grew into a man who was deeply devoted to the people he loved. Alan lived a life marked by kindness, loyalty, and a steady presence that brought comfort and laughter to those around him.
He is survived by his wife, Debra Williams; his daughter and son-in-law, Deanna Moore and Carlyle; his sons and daughters-in-law, Shane Williams and Brandi, and Rob Fox III and Stepheanna Reagin; his grandchildren and their spouses, Brett Fox and Derya, Cole Mocaby and Jamie, and Conner Moore; and his great-grandchildren, Dallas Mocaby, Tinsley Mocaby, Teagan Mocaby, Titus Mocaby, Malcolm Fox, and Mateo Fox. He is also survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Guy Williams and Angela; his niece and her husband, Kelsey Gruber and Shane; his nephew, Keaton Williams; and his great-nieces, Willa and Sylvie Gruber. Alan’s family was the center of his world, and he treasured every moment spent with them.
He was the kind of man who would help anyone who needed a hand, and he was known for his generous spirit and dependable nature. Whether he was grilling out, enjoying a round of golf, or spending time with loved ones, Alan found joy in simple pleasures and in the company of those closest to him.
He was a lifelong music lover who especially enjoyed listening to Elvis, and he was a devoted fan of the Georgia Bulldogs and the Atlanta Braves. Alan also loved watching his son play baseball, a memory that brought him great pride and happiness. He had a joke ready for nearly every occasion, and his sense of humor could brighten even the hardest day. Those who knew him will remember him as a loving, funny, and thoughtful man whose presence made life better for everyone around him.
Alan will be remembered for his warm heart, his steady faithfulness to family, and the many ways he showed love through his actions. He was a faithful member of Faith Baptist Church in Newborn Ga. He leaves behind a legacy of devotion, laughter, and care that will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him. His memory will be cherished always by his family and friends, who will miss him dearly and hold close the many moments they shared with him.
A Celebration of Life for Alan will be held Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at 3:00PM at the Chapel of Caldwell and Cowan Funeral Home 1215 Access Rd Covington ga 30014. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home, one hour prior to his service, from 02:00 – 03:00 PM.
