Regina Arleen Maughon

Regina Arleen Maughon, of Covington, passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at the age of 69. Mrs. Maughon never met a stranger and brought joy to those around her with her unique and delightful craziness. She loved to shop and find a good deal. In addition, she enjoyed collecting owls. Mrs. Maughon loved her family dearly and her legacy of kindness and joy will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her son, David Jason Greene; mother, Barbara Ann Moon; and father, Julian Junior Cooper.

Survivors include her daughter, Stephanie Perez (Douglas Sosa); fiancé, Danny Carroll; grandchildren, Briana Maughon, Makayla Olguin; sister, Sharon Harrison (Tommy); and friend, Steve Maughon.

A Memorial Service for Mrs. Maughon will be held at a later date.
