Randall James Gilreath, 54, passed away suddenly on Thursday, May 1, 2025. As this loss was very unexpected, it left his family and friends devastated to see him leave this world far too soon.
Born on December 25th, 1970, to James and Janet Gilreath, Randall was raised as their only son in Conyers, Georgia. From the time he was born, he developed a strong work ethic that he carried with him throughout his life. At the age of 17, Randall began working at Evans Tool & Die, where he would continue to work until receiving the title of plant manager.
He was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, son, and friend who never failed to make those in his life feel loved. His smile beamed as he never met a stranger and was always willing to lend a helping hand. Whether it be his contagious laughter or his signature pairing of a T-shirt, cargo shorts, and cowboy boots, he truly had a way of making those around him feel at home.
Randall is survived by his wife, Kasey; his children, Elizabeth King, Justin Gilreath, Kylie Friar, and Emerson Gilreath; grandson, Jason Gilreath; and parents, James and Janet Gilreath.
Services will be held at Caldwell & Cowan (1215 Access Rd, Covington, Ga 30014) on Saturday, May 10th at 2:00 pm with burial to follow. Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm- 2:00 pm. The family encourages attendees to come as you are and to wear what Randall would have wanted-laid back, relaxed attire that reflects his easygoing spirit.
