Peggy Jean Fuller, of Covington, passed away Saturday, May 9, 2026, at the age of 66. Mrs. Fuller was a devoted believer who loved Jesus with all her heart. She cherished time spent in the mountains and at the beach, finding joy in God’s creation wherever she went. Her greatest love was her family, especially her children and grandchildren, whom she adored deeply. She never met a stranger and loved everyone she encountered. Mrs. Fuller enjoyed talking for hours and playing games on the telephone, and she could often be found watching her favorite Lifetime movies. Her warm spirit, kind heart, and love for people made her a blessing to all who knew her.
Mrs. Fuller never liked to say goodbye. Instead, she would always say, “I’ll see you later,” a phrase that will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Byron Fuller; daughter, Donna Sue Fuller; parents, Billy Garrett and Evelyn Garrett; sister, Linda Garrett; brother, Michael Dewayne Garrett.
Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Angela Beggs (Keith), Brandy Knight (Jonathan), Magan Cahoon (Daniel), Cathy Cook, Melissa Deloney (Dave), Cindy Fuller, Tawanna Fuller; sons and daughters-in-law: Kevin Benton (Christie), Steven Fuller (Crystal), Adam Fuller (Emily); 24 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; brother and sisters-in-law, Bobby Garrett (Kathy), Robert Qualls (Judy), Tina Snellgrove, Robin Fuller; Fur baby, Lucy; as well as several nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service for Mrs. Fuller will be held Saturday, May 16, 2026, 2:00 P.M., at The Baptist Tabernacle, 10119 Access Road, in Covington, with interment following in Callie Fuller Baptist Church, in Monticello. Friends are invited to visit with the family at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, Friday, May 15, from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M., and again on Saturday at the church, one hour prior to her service.
