Patsy Elaine (Waters) Grant passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 10 2026 in Jackson, Georgia surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on March 27, 1945 at Emory University Hospital in Decatur, Georgia to parents Willie Frank Waters and Ola Mae (Wade) Waters and lived in Decatur, Georgia for many years before moving to Covington, Georgia in 1988.

Patsy was a loving wife, mother, aunt, sister, cousin and grandmother to many and always had a loving and welcome heart to all.She was exceptionally proud to be called Grandmom to her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She worked a long career Dillard paper company and retired to become full time wife, mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her husband John Russell Grant, Sr, mother Ola Mae (Wade) Waters, father Willie Frank Waters and sister Frances Cecelia (Waters) Dolan.

She is survived by her son John Russell "Rusty" Grant, Jr and his wife Holly Michelle (Harrison) Grant, sister Sandra Faye (Waters) Rosser, brother Willie Otis "Bill" Waters, cousin Linda (Phillips) Roach and husband Luther Roach, along with multiple grandchildren, great grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at 2:00pm at the Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home at 1215 Access Road, Covington, Georgia 30014.Sent from my iPhone
