Patricia Freeman

Patricia Freeman, 81, of Covington, passed away peacefully on August 17, 2025. She was a loving, nurturing, and compassionate woman whose gentle spirit touched everyone around her. Patricia found joy in gardening, sewing, cooking, and always keeping a fresh pot of coffee ready for family and friends. She especially treasured spending time with family and her grandchildren and made every birthday feel extra special.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Freeman; parents, Everett and Ruby Yopp; son, John Freeman; granddaughter, Caroline Walker; and brothers, Nelson Yopp. Charles Yopp.

Patricia is survived by her children, Sonya Walker (Todd), Jennifer Parish (Lee), and Jeffrey Freeman; daughter-in-law, Tina Freeman; grandchildren, Katherine Walker, Elizabeth Walker, Alex Parish (Isabella), Austin Parish, and Andrew Parish; and great-grandchild, Shiloh Parish. She is also survived by her sister, Betty Bernat (Frank); brother, Douglas Yopp (Deloris); sister-in-law, Wanda Yopp; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Patricia will be remembered as a strong, caring, and devoted woman who loved her family dearly.

A Memorial Service for Mrs. Freeman will be held Friday, August 22, 2025, 2:00 P.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home one hour prior to her service from 1:00 - 2:00 P.M.
