Pam Dawn Collins, of Oxford, passed away Monday, August 16, 2021, at the age of 46. Pam was a member of Lovejoy United Methodist Church and attended services at Stewart Community Church. She loved traveling and going to the beach, especially Myrtle Beach, as well as the mountains. Pam enjoyed watching TV, playing on her iPad, and playing roblox with her nephew, Jackson, step granddaughter, Taylor, and stepdaughter, Stephanie. She liked taking Jackson to feed ducks and enjoyed spending time with her special friend, Lucy Hadaway; both Lucy and Jackson called her Ella. Pam was preceded in death by her husband, James Davis; father, James Mercer Collins; grandparents, C.W. “RIP” and Margaret Collins; and grandfather, Talmadge Cawthon.
Pam is survived by her mother, Elsie Collins; brother, James Mercer Collins, Jr. (Sarah); grandmother, Mogene Cawthon; nephew, Jackson Austin Collins; stepdaughter, Stephanie Ringer (Billy); step granddaughter, Taylor Ringer; aunt, Penny Stewart; as well as other loving family members.
A Graveside Service for Pam will be held Friday, August 20, 2021, 11:00 A.M., at Lawnwood Memorial Park, 1111 Access Road, in Covington, with Pastor Jason Johnson officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Stewart Community Church, 13645 GA-36, Covington, Georgia 30014.
