Nancy Kay Wallace, of Covington, passed away Sunday, March 17, 2024, at the age of 62. Mrs. Wallace was a member of East Conyers Congregation of Jehovah’s Witness. She enjoyed reading her Bible, traveling to the beach, and working in her garden and flower garden – she especially took great pride in her pansies and roses. Mrs. Wallace was kind, patient, loving, spiritual, and nurturing. She had a special place in her heart for animals and would feed stray cats. Mrs. Wallace loved her family and her cats very much and will be missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Pauline Tyson; and brother, Keith Tyson.
Survivors include her husband, Frank Carithers; sons, Brian Carithers, Brad Carithers (Amanda); brother, Kerk Tyson; aunt and uncle, Liz and Martin Tyson; as well as many friends.
A Funeral Service for Mrs. Wallace will be held Tuesday, April 2, 2024, 2:00 P.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home, one hour prior to her service, from 1:00 – 2:00 P.M.
