Myrtle Patricia Lines, of Oxford, passed away Friday, January 9, 2026, at the age of 71. Mrs. Lines was a loving and devoted family woman who always made time for what mattered most to her, including instilling important life lessons in her children. She was an amazing quilter with her own business, an avid reader and talented baker. Mrs. Lines found joy in both quiet moments and shared traditions. Persistent and brilliant, she lived with strength and grace. She often shared her wisdom openly with others. She was beautiful inside and out and creative, loving, and deeply kind. Mrs. Lines was known for her humor and contagious laughter and she brought light to those around her. Her legacy of love, resilience, and creativity will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Aaron Estes Reynolds, Sr., and Myrtle Reynolds; and brother, Aaron Estes Reynolds, Jr.
Survivors include her loving husband, David Lines; children, Tasmin Hicks (Will), Aaron Lines (Christie), Margaret Lines (Medina), Noel Lines (Holly); 5 grandchildren, Elijah Lines, Anna Claire Lines, Levi Lines, Maggie Rose Hicks, Trey Hicks, sisters, Juanita Whitaker (Warren), and Margaret Wiggins (Wayne).
A Funeral Service for Mrs. Lines will be held Wednesday, January 14, 2026, 2:00 P.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home two hours prior to her service, from 12:00 - 2:00 P.M.
