Celebration of Life Obituary Minna Evadney Simpson Taylor Sunrise on April 25, 1943, in Portland, Jamaica. On Monday, November 24, 2025, she peacefully transitioned in Milledgeville, Georgia. Minna lived a life full of love, grace, and unwavering strength. She was a wife, a loving mother, and a treasured presence to all who knew her. Her generosity, faith, and kindness touched the hearts of family, friends, and community alike. She was the beloved mother of five children—Miriam, John, Donna, Charles, and Pamella. She leaves behind six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her endless joy and pride. Minna is also survived by her sister Veronica Channer and her brother Joslyn Keaton, and her dearest friend Yvonne Brown, who will continue to carry her memory with love. Her journey on this earth was marked by compassion, resilience, and a deep commitment to family. Though she has departed from this life, her spirit and legacy will remain forever in the hearts of those she touched. The family of Minna wishes to express their deepest gratitude for the prayers, love, and support received during this time of bereavement. Your kindness is greatly appreciated.
A Funeral Service for Mrs. Simpson will be held Monday, December 1, 2025, 2:00 P.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the funeral home, two hours prior to his service from 12:00 - 2:00 P.M.
