Melda Torbich

Melda Cooper Torbich, of Covington, passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at the age of 86. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 49 years, Albert Torbich; and parents, Leroy Cooper and Lois Hanks Cooper. 

Survivors include her sons, Roy Torbich, Ray Torbich, Ron Torbich; grandchildren, Katie Antonion (Ben), Nicholas Torbich, Sean Torbich, Lucas Torbich; and brother, “Sonny” Roy Alton Cooper. 

A Funeral Service for Mrs. Torbich will be held Sunday, October 6, 2024, 3:00 P.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with interment following in Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery, in Newborn. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home two hours prior to her service, from 1:00 – 3:00 P.M.
