Mary Rose Williams, of Bethlehem, passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at the age of 97. Mrs. Williams will be remembered as a loving wife, devoted mother, and faithful friend whose life was centered on her family and her faith. A longtime member of Belmont Baptist Church, she was a deeply religious woman who lived out her beliefs through kindness, compassion, and a servant's heart. Married for more than 40 years, she shared a lifetime of love and cherished memories with her husband. She never met a stranger and was always eager to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Mrs. Williams was a wonderful cook who found joy in preparing meals for those she loved. She especially treasured the Christmas season, when she delighted in gathering her family together, and she enjoyed many happy hours playing board games with family and friends. Her warmth, generosity, and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Patrina Castiglia.

Survivors include her daughter, Sandy Derkson; son, Mike Urso (Natalie); grandchildren, Ryan Derkson, Rachael Kreutzer, Brian Urso, Brandon Urso; great-grandchildren, Hope Derkson, Reese Derkson, Blaire Derkson, Henry Kreutzer, Kennedy Kreutzer, Ariana Urso, Tyler Ferguson, Colin Ferguson; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Service for Mrs. Williams will be held at a later date.
