Marvin Lee Johnson, of Covington, passed away Friday, January 9, 2026, at the age of 84. Mr. Johnson, affectionately known as “Pops,” was truly one of a kind. Above all, Pops was sweet, loving, and a great friend to anyone who crossed his path. He had a generous heart, often taking people in and looking after them, always making sure those around him were cared for. His kindness, warmth, and welcoming spirit left a lasting impression on many, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Preceded by his parents, Joe Johnson and Ethel Mae Johnson; sister, Hazel Edge; brother-in-law, Robert (Punk) Edge; and brother, Johnny Johnson.
