Margarito Fernandez

Anunciamos el fallecimiento de Margarito Fernández Montejo, quien falleció el 22 de mayo de 2025 a la edad de 64 años. Margarito fue un excelente esposo, padre, abuelo y amigo. Era conocido por todos como un hombre trabajador, siempre dispuesto a ayudar. Un hombre de profunda fe, Margarito vivió su vida al servicio de los demás y con una dedicación inquebrantable a su familia y a Dios. Encontraba gran alegría cantando, especialmente con su amada esposa e hijos, y compartía esa alegría con sus nietos. Su calidez, humor y espíritu alegre iluminaban cada habitación. El azul celeste, su color favorito, armonizaba con la luminosidad que llevaba en su alma. Margarito amaba profundamente a su esposa, y siempre hablaba de ella con cariño y admiración. Apreciaba su compañía, y le pedía que lo acompañara al trabajo, simplemente para estar a su lado. Vivió cada día guiado por el amor, la fe y el valor de la familia. Le encantaba estar con su familia reunidos. El era un pilar de una columna para toda la familia y sus cuñados. Para sus hijos, fue el mejor padre del universo: cariñoso, sabio y siempre dispuesto a guiarlos y animarlos. Para su familia y comunidad, fue un pilar de fortaleza y bondad, respetado por sus buenas obras y su generoso corazón. El velatorio se llevará a cabo el jueves 29 de mayo, de 5:00 PM 8:00 PM, en la Funeraria Caldwell y Cowan. El servicio fúnebre se realizará el viernes 30 de mayo a las 10:00 AM en la Funeraria Caldwell y Cowan.

Margarito Fernandez, of Covington, passed away Thursday, May 22, 2025, at the age of 64.Margarito was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was known by all as a hardworking man, always ready to lend a helping hand. A loyal friend and a man of deep faith, Margarito lived his life in service to others and in unwavering dedication to his family and to God.

He found great joy in singing, especially with his beloved wife and children; and he often shared that joy with his grandchildren. His warmth, humor, and playful spirit brought light into every room. Sky blue, his favorite color, matched the brightness he carried in his soul. Margarito loved his wife deeply, always speaking of her with affection and admiration. He cherished her company, often requesting she accompany him to work, just to be by her side. His life was guided by love, faith, and family; values he lived by every day.

To his children, he was the best father in the universe. Loving, wise, and always there with guidance and encouragement. To his extended family and community, he was a pillar of strength and kindness, respected for his good deeds and generous heart.

A Funeral Service for Mr. Fernandez will be held Friday, May 30, 2025, 11:00 A.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home, Thursday, May 29, from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M.
