Lauria Ann Edge

June 22, 1941 — January 22, 2026

Oxford

Ann Edge, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on January 22, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. She was 84 years old.

Born on June 22, 1941, Ann was the daughter of the late Jesse and Myrtle Dimsdale. She was also preceded in death by her parents-in-law, Charles and Helen Edge; her beloved son, Bobby Speight; her sister, Elaine Dimsdale-Hinton; her brother, Wayne Dimsdale (Kathy); and her niece, Cynde Hinton.

Ann shared 52 beautiful years of marriage with her loving husband, Jerry Edge, with whom she built a life centered on family, love, and togetherness. She was a devoted homemaker while raising her children and took great pride in creating a warm, welcoming home where family always came first. After her children were grown, Ann turned her passion for beauty and design into a very successful interior decorating business, where her creativity and eye for detail truly shined.

She had a love for antiques and enjoyed collecting antique dolls. Ann loved to draw and sketch, expressing herself through art. She found great joy in decorating, and especially spending time with her grandchildren. Nothing meant more to her than making sure her family spent time together, creating memories that will be cherished forever.

Above all else, Ann was an exceptional mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her kindness, warmth, and quiet strength touched everyone she met.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry Edge; her children, Andrea Bolt (Roy), Doug Speight (Carol), and Ron Edge (Renee); and her grandchildren, Hannah York (Chris), Trey Speight (Ashlynn), Collin Fleming (Lindsey), Corbin Edge, Tony Bolt, Julie Bolt, Nicholas Speight (Alexandria), and Nolan Edge. She also leaves behind her beloved great-grandchildren, Adilynn Fleming, Elijah York, Jonah York, Sayler Fleming, Elizabeth “Lizzie” Speight, and Sunni Fleming; and many nieces and nephews.

Ann Edge’s legacy of love, creativity, and devotion to family will live on through the many generations who were blessed to call her mother, grandmother, and friend. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
