Kyle Justice Prather, of Conyers, passed away Friday, June 5, 2026, at the age of 38. Kyle will be remembered for his sharp mind, quick wit, and unique sense of humor. Intelligent and endlessly curious, he had a passion for science, trivia, and collecting random facts that he loved sharing with family and friends.

A devoted fan of The Lord of the Rings and Star Wars, Kyle could often be found immersed in epic adventures, cheering on the Atlanta Braves, Georgia Tech Football, and the Atlanta Falcons, or enjoying his favorite video games. He had a wonderful balance of being both goofy and stoic, bringing laughter and steady strength to those around him.

Kyle's kindness, humor, and love for learning will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.

He is survived by his parents, Jennifer and Keith Prather; brothers, Chris Prather, Matthew Prather; grandparents, Jim Simpson, Marilyn Simpson, Joyce Prather.

A Memorial service for Kyle will be held Monday, June 15, 2026, 2:00 P.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington. Friends are invited to visit with the family one hour prior to his service from 1:00 - 2:00 P.M.
