Kelvin Dudley “Do-Right” Carter, of Social Circle, passed away Sunday, November 23, 2025, at the age of 62. Mr. Carter was a one-of-a-kind spirit who lived life boldly and unapologetically. He loved nothing more than riding his Harley on an open road, catching up with friends, and cracking the kind of jokes that made everyone laugh—and sometimes blush. Proud of his hair and beard, he carried himself with a confidence as unmistakable as his humor. He always spoke the truth, never sugar-coating his words, yet somehow managing to make people love him even more for it. A man who never met a stranger, he had a gift for turning everyday moments into laughter and connection. Mr. Carter leaves behind countless memories, miles of stories, and a legacy of honesty, humor, and heart.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lisa Carter; parents, James and Clara Carter; brother, Jack Carter; sister, Brenda Smith.
Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Amanda Myers (Mason); sons and daughters-in-law, Nick Carter (Sabrina), Brian Carter (Michelle), James Carter; grandchildren, Easton, Brody, Ella, Scarlet, Liam, Marlee, Finn; sisters, Maggie Lumley, Carolyn Smith (Tommy), Pat Burnett (Tony); brothers, Butch Carter, Robert Carter, Doug Carter (Cindy); as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins.
