Kathleen Waddell Joyce, age 82, passed away August 2, 2026. She was born January 4, 1944, in Atlanta, GA. She is survived by her husband, John W. Joyce, daughter, Tracy Davis (Scott), as well as nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, J. Harris and Dorothy Waddell, and sisters, Sandra Goodwin (Joe) and Rebecca Decker (David). She was a 1962 graduate of Gordon High School. She pursued a career in the accounting business for Oxford Industries and then for Covington Industries in Atlanta and then with the family trucking businesses. She loved to serve and volunteered for Meals on Wheels in Rockdale County for 10 years. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church of Oxford where she participated in numerous ministries and services of the church.

A Memorial Service for Mrs. Joyce will be held Saturday, August 22, 2026, 12:00 P.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington. Friends are invited to visit with the family one hour prior to her service, from 11:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M.
