Karen Hubbard

Karen Patricia Hubbard, of Conyers, passed away Thursday, October 3, 2024, at the age of 77. Mrs. Hubbard was a dedicated member of Calvary Baptist Church. She was a strong prayer warrior and had read through her Bible 6 times. A loving wife and mother, Mrs. Hubbard was always proud of her son. In her spare time, she enjoyed quilting, crafting, doing puzzle books, and watching the Braves and her shows. Mrs. Hubbard’s favorite things were sitting on the porch with the rabbit and indulging in a Diet Coke and popcorn. She was strong-willed and was a “stubborn Hubbard”. Mrs. Hubbard will be remembered for her southern accent and greeting everyone with an ”oh hey!” She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Hubbard; parents, Henry and Rachel Wigenton; and brother, Terrell Wigenton (Betty).

 Survivors include her son, Donnie Hubbard; sister, Yvonne Lubbess (Walt); and brother, Henry “Butch” Wigenton.

 A Funeral Service for Mrs. Hubbard will be held Tuesday, October 8, 2024, 12 Noon, at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home, two hours prior to her service, from 10:00 A.M. – 12 Noon.
