Joyce Spicciati

Joyce Spicciati, of Covington, passed away Sunday, May 29, 2022, at the age of 76. A native of The Bronx, she was a 1964 graduate of Dodge Vocational High School. Miss Spicciati lived most of her life in Beacon, New York before moving to Covington, Georgia, in 2016. She carved out a 44-year career at Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, where she was a dedicated employee. Miss Spicciati was a wine enthusiast and a real socialite who enjoyed dining out with family and friends and hosting dinner parties that concluded with a game of Mahjong. She enjoyed traveling and especially enjoyed her trips to Italy and Mexico. Miss Spicciati liked reading romance novels and snagging a good deal at any yard sale.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dante and Rose Josephine Spicciati; brother, Frank Spicciati.

Survivors include her sister, Barbara Dicarlucci (Joseph); brother, Daniel Spicciati; niece, Jennifer Joyce Dicarlucci Rutberg; nephew, David Dicarlucci; great-niece, Mia Rose Dicarlucci; great-nephews, Kyle Rutberg, Connor Rutberg, Cameron Rutberg;

Miss Spicciati’s family will host a private memorial service at a later date.
