Joseph Sidney Garner,

Access Road   Joseph Sidney Garner, February 22, 1925 - February 19, 2010, son of the former Joseph Maxwell Garner and Catherine Good Garner of Oxford, MS, went to be with his Heavenly Father and Jesus, his Savior and Lord.  Sid served in the church as an elder for many years.  He served his country in the US Air Force as a pilot and in Research and Development, participating in WWII, Korean Conflict, and Vietnam.  His loving family include his wife of 63 years, Mary McCord Garner, one daughter, Linda Carol Garner, Covington, GA; 4 sons, Joe, Stockbridge, GA; Robert, Snellville, GA; Donald, Arcata, CA; and Brooks, Foley, AL; 13 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and one sister, Maxine Garner Elliott, Pearl, MS.
