On June 26, 2026, John Michael Coker received his ultimate healing as he entered the presence of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. While his family grieves his absence, they rejoice in knowing he is whole again and reunited in heaven with his beloved wife, Martha Coker, and his mother, Carolyn Coker.

John was a devoted father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He is survived by his loving daughter, Paige Dean and her husband, Michael Dean; his son, Brandon Mathis; his father, Cliff Coker; his sisters, Jennifer Evans and Stephanie Coker; his treasured grandchildren, Landyn Dean, Kadence Dean, and Carson Davis; as well as several beloved nieces, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever cherish his memory.

John had a deep love for fishing and found peace on the water, enjoying God’s beautiful creation. We find comfort in imagining him casting a line in the peaceful waters of heaven, completely healed, surrounded by those he loved, and experiencing the joy and peace of eternity.

John’s love and strength will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. Though he will be deeply missed, his legacy of love will never be forgotten.
