Jeff Summerlin of Covington, Georgia, passed away on October 4, 2018, at the age of 66. Jeff's salt-of-the-earth demeanor was one of his many endearing traits - as well as his love of family and his laid-back easy-going personality. In addition to his love of the FSU Seminoles, Jeff enjoyed a good cup of coffee and listening to his rock ‘n' roll music. He was predeceased by his parents, Jack and Barbara Summerlin; brothers, Nicky and Andy Summerlin; and step-son,
Charles Detwiler.
Survivors include his adoring wife, Joann Fennell Summerlin; son, Jefferson "Skipper" Summerlin; step-children, Trisha Castellon, James Long and Manny Boatwright; a sister, two brothers, and a multitude of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. We will always carry Jeff's memory in our hearts.
A memorial service will be held in Fort Pierce, Florida and will be announced at a future date.
