She especially enjoyed traveling, with one of her favorite traditions being a yearly trip to Disney World. She also loved going on cruises and making lasting memories through her adventures.
Mrs. Billingsley was deeply devoted to serving others. She generously volunteered with the Rockdale County School System, where she served on the PTA board and as PTA President. Her commitment to supporting students, families, and educators made a meaningful difference in her community.
Her faith was an important part of her life. As a child, her faith journey started at Bethel Baptist Church in Pine Park, Georgia. As an adult, she faithfully attended Victory Community Church in Oxford and Conyers. She faithfully ministered to others by mailing cards, checking in on shut-in members, and regularly calling or reaching out to make sure people felt loved and remembered. She recently joined Springfield Baptist Church in Conyers, Georgia.
Mrs. Billingsley had a special gift for caring for people. Whether through a thoughtful card, a phone call, or a friendly conversation, she made others feel valued. Her life was marked by kindness, service, and a genuine desire to give back to her community.
She will be deeply missed by all who had the blessing of knowing her.
