Jacolyn Kay Adair

Jacolyn Kay Adair, of Covington, passed away Friday, April 21, 2023, at the age of 70. Mrs. Adair was a hard worker and enjoyed spending time outdoors gardening and planting flowers. She took great pride in her impressive owl figurine collection. Mrs. Adair was a homebody and had a big heart for animals, especially her beloved dog, Jazz. She adored her family and treasured spending time with them. Mrs. Adair was preceded in death by her husband, John Adair; and parents, Scott and Mary Lou Wheeler.

Mrs. Adair is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jamie and Rodney Durden, of Covington; sons and daughter-in-law, Jason Adair, of Mansfield, Jeremy and Rhonda Adair, of Covington; grandchildren, Jordon Adair, Justin Adair, Jared Adair, Michael Tamasi, Joshua Tamasi, Alyssa Adair, Leah Adair, Samuel Madaris, Hunter Durden, James Durden; brothers and sister-in-law, Scott Wheeler, Sr., Steve and Penny Wheeler, Mike Wheeler; and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life for Mrs. Adair will be held Tuesday, April 25, 2023, 4:00 P.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Pastor Ed Westbrook officiating. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home on Monday, April 24, from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M.
