Guy M. Anglin

Guy M. Anglin, of Oxford, passed away Friday, November 19, 2021, at the age of 85. Mr. Anglin retired from General Motors at the Lakewood Plant location. He was a native of Atlanta and a resident of Oxford for over 25 years. Mr. Anglin loved cars and had a special interest in restoring old cars, especially Chevrolets. He took pride in granddaughters and attended every softball game they had. Mr. Anglin cherished his family dearly. He was preceded in death by his son, Brad Anglin; parents, David and Ruth Anglin; and sister, Sylvia Joanne Anglin.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Mary Ellen Anglin; daughter, Sylvia “Cricket” Anglin; son, Brian Anglin; grandchildren, Holly Springer, Carrie Springer; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Private Interment Service was held at Lawnwood Memorial Park.
