Gregory Alan Davis, of Covington, passed away Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at the age of 60. Greg enjoyed fishing, horseback riding, and shooting. He especially loved amateur radio and was an Assistant Emergency Coordinator for Newton County ARES and a storm spotter for Sky Warn for the National Weather Service. His radio call sign was KI4NWD.
Survivors include his father, Charles Davis; mother, Barbara Anne McGee; sister, Mary Ann Skidmore; and step-sister, Stacy Walden.
A Memorial Service for Mr. Daivs will be held at a later date.
