Genady Bugera was born on January 17, 1973, in Ismail, Ukraine. He was the second of five children, growing up alongside his three brothers and one sister in a close-knit family.

In 1990, Genady and his family moved to the United States, where he built his life and created lasting memories. He was a devoted husband, a loving father, and a caring son and brother.

Genady is survived by his wife, Svetlana Bugera, and their three children, Jason, Nikitta, and Dashka. He cherished every moment spent with his family. He loved teaching his children how to work on trucks, taking them fishing, going off-roading, and enjoying time together at the lake—his favorite place to be.

Genady also found great joy in his church, where he loved attending services and singing songs.

He had a deep love for summer and the outdoors, especially spending time by the lake and fishing, where he felt most at peace. He was known for his strong work ethic and his dedication to providing for his family.

Above all, Genady will be remembered for his kind heart, his constant positivity, and the joy he brought to those around him. He touched many lives with his warmth and spirit.

He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A funeral service will be held on April 4, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, Covington, Georgia. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service starting at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Lawnwood Memorial Park.
