Elson Lamar Hester

Elson Lamar Hester, of Oxford, GA, passed away on July 11, 2025, at the age of 65. Born on June 22, 1960, Elson was a devoted family man, a hardworking provider, and a steadfast believer in his faith.

Known for being set in his ways and always ready with a joke, Elson had a big heart and a quick wit. He loved sports, enjoyed cooking for his family, and found joy in the simple things in life.

He is survived by his two children, three stepchildren, nine grandchildren, and one great-grandchild, all of whom he loved deeply and spoke of often with pride.

Elson’s legacy lives on in the laughter he shared, the lessons he taught, and the faith he lived by. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
