Ella Alice Curran

Ella Curran, of Conyers, passed away Monday, August 22, 2022, at the age of 87. Mrs. Curran was a loving and kind person who gave all she had but stood her ground. She loved traveling to the mountains and camping with her husband, Don, and was a wonderful cook. Mrs. Curran was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Amanda Jolene Smith; parents, Troy Eugene and John Colvin Bussey; sister, Cora Combie.

Survivors include her loving husband of 69 years, Don Curran; son, Kenny Curran (Janet); grandchildren, Sarah Schaal (Cody), James Bowen, Clay Bowen (Becky) Lisa Evans (Scott); great-grandchildren, Ethan Schaal, Gavin Schaal, Norah Schaal, Casey Crawford, Reid Evans, Colton Evans; brother, Colvin Bussey; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service for Mrs. Curran will be held Saturday, August 27, 2022, 3:00 P.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home, Friday, August 26, from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M.
