Dwayne Alex Temples, of Eatonton, passed away Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at the age of 64. Mr. Temples was a man who truly embraced life and the people around him. Full of energy and conversation, he never met a stranger and could make anyone feel at home with his easygoing spirit and warm smile. He had a deep love for the outdoors and found joy in the simple pleasures of nature - whether boating, roller skating, fishing on Lake Sinclair for crappie and catfish, or trout fishing in the mountains or camping and grilling. Cutting grass, and landscaping were not chores to him but moments of peace and pride.
A devoted football fan, Mr. Temples especially loved cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs. He enjoyed traveling to Myrtle Beach and visiting Gatlinburg, always appreciating the beauty around him, his favorite place on earth was his front porch overlooking the lake. On his way to work, he often talked to the cows, the pond, and the birds, finding comfort and companionship in nature and its quiet wonders.
Mr. Temples loved people and lived life with enthusiasm, laughter, and heart - there was never a dull moment in his presence. Above all, he loved his wife of 36 years dearly, and their bond was a constant source of joy and strength in his life. Mr. Temples was a proud father who loved his children and doted on them endlessly. His love for life, nature, and those around him will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his mother, MaryJo Brown; father, Alex Temples; and brothers, Steve Temples, Jeff Temples.
Survivors include his wife, Regina Temples; children, Brandi Owensby (Jason), Brooke Dial (Justin), Garrett Few (Lauren); grandchildren, Hunter Caron, Kylie Caron, Davin Andrus, Bentlee Andrus, Harlie Ramsey, Drake Ramsey, Josie Dial, Harrison Few, Emma Few; great-grandchild, Joel Caron; siblings, Pat Ciani, Cindy Turbyfield, Keith Temples (Kathy); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
