Doris Ann Muniz

Doris Ann Muniz, of San Antonio, Texas residing in Covington, GA, passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at the age of 67. Mrs. Muniz enjoyed gardening and had a phenomenal green thumb. She also enjoyed painting and could make any room look like a million bucks. Mrs. Muniz was an amazing mother and wife who was devoted to her family, friends, and our Lord Jesus Christ. She took great pride in taking care of her parents, friends, and anyone who needed a crying shoulder or just emotional support. Mrs. Muniz was loved by everyone and will be missed by all. The world has lost an amazing human being! And God knew it was time to bring her daughter home and into his loving arms.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Juan Vazquez and Juanita Vazquez Travieso.

Survivors include her loving husband of 28 years, Angel Muniz; children, Dakota Guerra, Muniz Brandon Guerra, Arias Muniz and grandchildren Zacharias and Marcy Guerra.

A Memorial Service for Mrs. Muniz will be held Tuesday, June 4, 2024, 3:00 P.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home, three hours prior to her service from 12 Noon – 3:00 P.M.
