Donald Bernard Fairclough

Donald Fairclough, of Conyers, passed away Friday, February 27, 2026, at the age of 71. Mr. Fairclough was born in Westmoreland, Jamaica, and was raised in the parish of Trelawny. He later moved to the United States, where he made his home in Conyers, Georgia. Mr. Fairclough will be remembered for his life’s journey from Jamaica to the United States and for the relationships he built with family, friends, and his community along the way. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He leaves behind cherished family members and friends who will continue to honor his life and legacy.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kaytie Fairclough; parents, Vernon and Inez Fairclough; siblings, Collie Gyal, Ira, Lloyd, Dor, Ken, Sam, Asly, Neville; and family friend, Supa.

Survivors include his children, Omar Fairclough, Kayla Fairclough; grandchild, Omari Fairclough; nieces and nephews, Shane, Ariel, Sharon; Previous wives, Kariene Fairclough, Hilda Fairclough; as well as sister-in-law, Simone Fairclough.

A Funeral Service for Mr. Fairclough will be held Friday, March 13, 2026, 2:00 P.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. Friends are invited to visit with the family one hour prior to his service, from 1:00 - 2:00 P.M.
