Don Abbot Pillivant

Don Abbot Pillivant, of Covington, passed peacefully after a long battle with lung cancer.

Mr. Pillivant was preceded in death by his daughter, Greta Oldham.

He is survived by his loving wife, Donna Renea Pillivant; daughters, Heather Oldham (Randy), Brittany Baker, Marcella Morgan (Shane), and Kathy; son, Adam Baker; grandchildren, Magen Gilstrap, Dalton Gilstrap (Paige), Blakely Dowdy (Jayden), Kaiden Webb, Camden Womack, Clayton Womack, Matthew, Brently Stephenson, Mariah Baker, B.J. McCorkle IV, Autumn McCorkle, Robert McCrary, and Nicole McCrary; and great-grandchild, Oaklyn Palmer. Mr. Pillivant also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives.

Don was a truck driver for many years. He loved his family, his wife, and his dogs (Odie and Tinkerbell). He loved to watch old western movies and relax at home. He was loved by his wife and family and will be dearly missed.

Gone but never forgotten.

Mr. Don Pillivant will be cremated with no service arrangements. The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
