Deborah Long

Deborah Long, of Conyers, passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at the age of 71. A native of Atlanta, Mrs. Long was a resident of Conyers for the past 11 years. She carved out a successful career with Auto Mart of Georgia, serving as president of the company for several years. Mrs. Long was a devout Christian and loved her family dearly – spending time with her grandchildren and especially her great-grandchildren, Noah, Grace, James, and Emma. Mrs. Long was a lover of The Beatles and enjoyed taking trips to Panama City Beach. She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Brooks; father, Mack Luck; and sister, Laurel McCullough.

Survivors include her loving husband, Danny Long; daughter, Shannon Busbee (David); son, Danny Long (Bonnie O’Keefe); 10 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; brothers, Mack Luck. Jr. (Lauren), Clay Luck (Wanda); as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Gathering for Mrs. Long will be held Friday, August 5, 2022, at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, from 1:00 – 3:00 P.M., with a sharing of memories beginning at 3:00 P.M.
