David Renfroe, of Covington, passed away Saturday, May 30, 2026, at the age of 73. Mr. Renfroe was a simple man who found joy in life's quiet moments. He loved spending time doing yard work, watching old VHS tapes, and recording things so he could watch them again later. A devoted dog lover, he treasured the companionship of his beloved pets.

He enjoyed sitting outside, watching deer wander by and birds visit throughout the day. Though he often kept to himself, those who knew him appreciated his silly, lighthearted nature and animated personality. Mr. Renfroe will be remembered for his gentle spirit, unique sense of humor, and the happiness he found in the everyday things he loved most.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Douglas Cecil Renfroe and Doris Smith Renfroe; brother, Glenn Renfroe; sister, Jo Ann Payne.

Survivors include his brother, Cecil Junior Renfroe; sisters, Diane Giles and Marie Scarborough.
