David Lamar Connell

David Connell, of Covington, passed away Monday, March 25, 2024, at the age of 64. Mr. Connell was a member of the First Baptist Church Social Circle. David thoroughly enjoyed traveling with his wife, Riza. He enjoyed watching the Braves play with his father. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Louise Connell; and brother, Steve Connell.

Survivors include his loving wife, Riza Connell; children, William Connell(Sabrina), Phillip Connell(Kelly), Michael Connell(Joel McGilvray); grandchildren, Caleb Andre Connell, Lauren Alexis Peters, Destany Bobbie Fergeson, Christopher Wayne Selvidge, Tyle Troy Pullen, Jackson Connell, Logan Connell; father, Jackson Connell; siblings, Keith Connell, Thomas Connell; as well as other loving family members.

A Memorial Service for Mr. Connell will be held Saturday, March 31, 2024, at 1 pm, at First Baptist Church Social Circle, 195 N Cherokee Rd, Social Circle, GA 30025, with Rev. Mike Hardy officiating. Friends are invited to visit with the family an hour prior to the service from noon to 1 pm.
