Darrell Singleton, of Monroe, passed away Friday, September 19, 2025, at the age of 63. Mr. Singleton will be remembered as a man who enjoyed the simple pleasures of life and the hobbies that brought him joy. He loved fishing, camping, and watching movies—especially action films—and could often be found tuned in to the History Channel. A lover of the outdoors, he took pride in his yard work and grass cutting.
He enjoyed playing backgammon, working on word search puzzles, shooting pool, and sharing good meals with family and friends. One of his proudest accomplishments was restoring his favorite motorcycle, a R69/2 500cc BMW, for which he won an award.
Mr. Singleton’s love for Trish, his special friend, his hobbies and his easygoing spirit will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Sandra Singleton.
Survivors include his dad, George Singleton; step-mom, Jeanette Singleton; children, Timothy, Darrell, Jr., step-siblings, Richard Brown, Michael Brown; several grandchildren; and sister, Susan Williams.
