Charles A. Petersen, 45, of Oxford, passed away unexpectedly May 3, 2016. Charles enjoyed fishing, was a loving and devoted father and will be missed by his family and a multitude of friends.
Survivors include his daughter, Christina Ann Petersen; parents, Alexander and Annie (Redmon) Petersen; sister, Karen Macy Petersen of St. Helena, CA; brother and sister-in-law, Michael Dale and Tammy Petersen of Austin, TX; as well as several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service for Charles will be held Wednesday, May 11, 2016, 4:00 PM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Dr. Adam Cooper officiating. Friends can visit with Charles' family Wednesday, one hour prior to his service, from 3:00 - 4:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to the Georgia Wildlife Federation, 11600 Hazelbrand Road, Covington, GA 30014.
