Brenda Joyce King

With heavy hearts and deep love, we announce the passing of Brenda Joyce King on May 17, 2025, at the age of 71.

 Brenda was born on June 28, 1953, and lived a life filled with kindness, thoughtfulness, and quiet strength. She had a gentle soul and a deep appreciation for the simple beauty of the world around her. A lover of birds and nature, Brenda found peace in the outdoors and joy in the flutter of wings and rustling leaves. She was an avid reader who cherished quiet moments spent with a good book, always eager to learn and reflect. 

Known for her sweet and caring nature, Brenda touched many lives with her warmth and generosity. She was smart, dependable, and a hard worker throughout her life—never one to shy away from a challenge or leave a task undone. Her quiet perseverance and compassionate heart left a lasting impression on all who knew her. 

Brenda is survived by her loving brothers, Darryl King and Terry King, as well as many nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly: Amanda Menninger, Sabrina Lee, Jennifer Spadetti, and Adam Hooten; Jason King, Brian King, and Terry King, Jr. 

Her legacy continues in the lives of her great-nieces Alainah Mosley, Ava Lee, and Addison Lee, and her great-nephews Peighton Rowe, Levi Hooten, Trey Spadetti, and Mason Spadetti—all of whom she held close in her heart. 

Brenda’s gentle presence will be deeply missed but forever remembered by her family and friends. She leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and quiet strength that will continue to inspire those who knew her.
