Billy Overby

Billy Overby of Covington, passed away October 4, 2010, at the age of 68. Mr. Overby was well-known and loved by many in the Magnet community in which he lived. He was preceded in death by his son, Timmy Overby; and his parents, Tim Jackson and Ruby (Hawkins) Overby. Survivors include his wife, Linda Overby; daughters, Shirley Johnson, Renee McCall, both of Covington; sisters, Onalee Lawson, Geraldine Cox, both of Cleveland, TN; brother, Jimmy Overby of Conyers; 4 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service for Mr. Overby will be held Saturday, October 9, 2010, 2:30 PM, at Apostolic Community Church, in Porterdale, with Pastor Robert Nash officiating. In lieu of flowers, a love offering may be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
