Betty Williams

December 24, 1949 — August 11, 2025

Covington

Betty Williams was a good woman. She was a homemaker who put God first and loved her family dearly. There was nothing she wouldn't do for her children…she lived for them and always put them before herself. Holidays meant a lot to her because they brought family together. Every Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year, Easter and Birthday were special because of her. She had a way of making everyone feel special. Any opportunity to celebrate family togetherness delighted her. She enjoyed making home-cooked meals and looked forward to family time at the dinner table to hear about everyone's day. She raised her children to know God and to value family.

She read the Bible and prayed for her family every night, asking God to guide them and keep them safe. Just like any parent, it was difficult to let go when her children were becoming more independent and left home for college or to start their own families, but she gave them the encouragement and guidance they needed to navigate life and become successful. She was always there when her children needed her and often sacrificed her own comfort for them. When her eldest son passed away in 2012, she was understandably devastated, but the experience brought her even closer to the Lord.

Betty's passing has left a hole in this family and brought grief that only God's love can assuage.

The family will never recover from this loss, but can take comfort in the fact that God shared this wonderful Angel with them during their time on earth and knowing that one day they will be reunited with her once again. She will be missed more than words can convey. We are grateful to the Lord, for her presence in their lives was such a blessing. Remembering Betty's beautiful personality and love for her family is a wonderful way to keep her memory alive and pay tribute to her life.
