Belinda Lavette Clark

Belinda Lavette Clark, of Covington, passed away June 28, 2022, at the age of 48. Ms. Clark was a graduate of Newton County High School. She was a talented hairdresser that was devoted to her clients and loved her job. Ms. Clark was very social and outspoken. She loved helping people and never met a stranger. Ms. Clark had a special connection with her grandmother, Ella Mae. In addition, she was a loving mother and had a big heart for her family.

Ms. Clark is survived by her daughter, Nadia A. Reid; son, Darion Mykel Clark; mother, Kathy Floyd (Wendell); father, Milton Jenkins (Lashundra); sisters, Kanisha Carter, Melissa Jenkins, Fran Ross; brothers, Sedrick Floyd (Adriene), Legale Floyd (Angelica), Milton Jenkins, Jr., Adrian Jenkins; maternal grandparents, Ella Mae and Eddie Davis; paternal grandmother, Anna Jenkins; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

A Memorial Service for Ms. Clark will be held Sunday, July 3, 2022, 1:00 P.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington. Friends are invited to visit with the family on Saturday, July 2, 2022, from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M.
