Covington
Barbara Leonard, of Covington, passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at the age of 70. Mrs. Leonard resided in Hiawassee for the last 9 years before relocating to Covington. She loved horseback riding, her dogs, and traveling. Mrs. Leonard was proud to be 20 years sober and was an avid supporter of Alcoholics Anonymous. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mike Leonard; parents, Floyd Mack and Bonnie Pearl Moncus; and siblings.
Survivors include her caregiver, Randi Lester and husband, Dean; as well as her lifelong friend, Delores Flannery.
A Private Service will be held at a later date.
