Anthony Todd Hunt, of Oxford, passed away Friday October 14, 2022 at the age of 56. He was proud to have received his title "Junk Car King" by none other than Johnathan Sackie Seabourn and is now hauling in heaven. Todd was a man of mischief and many opinions, a master of spinning tales, and always eager for a laugh. He enjoyed cars, fishing, and CB Radios, but at the beach with loved ones was where he was happiest. Todd enjoyed a special bond with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Claire Kinchen; father, Leroy Hunt; brother, Ken Hunt; and granddaughter, Remington Williamson.
He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Crystal and Justin Campbell, Amy and John Slaughter, Elizabeth Hunt; son, Cayden Banks; grandchildren, Ariel Campbell, Parker Peale, Aiden Campbell, Aubrey Slaughter, Ashton Campbell, Addison Hunt, Ariat Campbell; dad, Verley Kinchen; siblings, Joe Kinchen, Faron Kinchen, Sherry Hunt, Raymond Kinchen, Judy Hatch, Rita Locklear, Sharon Hunt, Kay Hunt Williamson, Debbie Lozano, Lisa Harden, Thomas Hunt, Gary Hunt, Teresa Strickland; as well as many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life for Mr. Hunt will be held Wednesday, October 19, 2022, 6:00 P.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington. Friends and family are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home two hours prior to his service from 4:00-6:00 P.M. Family and friends are invited to join and share their favorite memories of Todd.
