Annelle Deerman, of Covington, passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at the age of 93. Mrs. Deerman will be remembered as a loving wife, devoted mother, grandmother, and friend whose generous heart and warm spirit touched everyone who knew her. Married to her beloved husband for 47 years, the two proudly owned and operated Paul's Body Shop for 52 years, building both a successful business and lasting friendships within their community. She also dedicated many years of service to National Linen.

Mrs. Deerman found great joy in working in her yard, cooking delicious meals for her family, and gathering everyone together for the holidays she cherished so much. She loved cheering on the Atlanta Braves, trying her luck on trips to the casino, and above all, spending time with those she loved most. Blessed with a wonderful sense of humor, she had a way of making people smile and feel welcome. Her kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for her family will be treasured forever, and her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Deerman; Grandson, Gary Hammond; parents, H.P. and Mildred Christian; sisters, Louise Christian, Martha Lester, Mary Rogers, Virginia Aaron, and Glenda Lord.

Survivors include her daughters, Diane Petty (Dean), Deborah Bennett (Larry); grandchildren, Marcus Bennett; great-grandchildren, Cameron Hammond, Colten Hammond, Chloe Hammond, Amelia Bennett, Olivia Bennett; brother-in-law, Fred Lord; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service for Mrs. Deerman will be held Friday, July 31, 2026, 11:00 A.M., at Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery, 3962 Salem Road, in Covington.
