Amy Elizabeth Brown

Amy Elizabeth Brown, of Oxford, passed away Sunday, June 8, 2025, at the age of 46. Amy was a joyful spirit who truly loved being around people. She found happiness in running marathons with her friends, sharing meals, and simply spending time with those she cared about. She had a deep love for her dog Dory and enjoyed the peaceful moments watching her goats. Amy was blessed with many dear friends who brought her joy and laughter throughout her life.

A faithful member of Tabernacle of Praise in Mansfield, Amy adored her church family and lived her life with unwavering encouragement, joy, and love for others. Her contagious smile lit up every room, and her constant positivity and strong faith touched everyone she met. Amy will be remembered for her kind heart, happy spirit, and the way she always lifted others up.

She was preceded in death by her half-brother, Donny.

Survivors include her parents, Ken (Peanut) and Mary; half-sister, Donna; step-brother, Jim Hughes (Pam); special friend, Steve; as well as several aunts and cousins.

A Memorial Service for Amy will be held Saturday, June 21, 2025, 2:00 P.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home one hour prior to her service, from 1:00 - 2:00 P.M.
